Getac Group Partners with Intel for a Sustainable Tree-Planting Initiative to Build a Green Supply Chain
On September 23, a working day, Getac Holdings organized the “Getac Tree-Planting Volunteer Day,” together with its subsidiaries Getac Technology Corporation and Atemitech Corporation. The event also invited supply chain partner Intel Taiwan to participate in the Shalun Coastal Afforestation and Maintenance Project in New Taipei City.
Led by Getac Holdings Chairman James Huang and Intel Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Communications Group Jia-Hui Wang, more than 200 employees joined the initiative, planting 600 native saplings and committing to a three-year maintenance program. The effort contributes to the restoration of coastal forests in Shalun, New Taipei City, and demonstrates a shared commitment to environmental sustainability.

In response to the urban-rural divide and its associated challenges — including population outflow, demographic aging, and economic decline — the concept of "Regional Revitalization" has gained momentum in recent years. This initiative aims to leverage local characteristics to reinvigorate communities and support the economic development of local areas.
In alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Getac Holdings, together with its subsidiaries Atemitech and Getac Technology, organized a team-building activity on June 17 — "Getac Team Building: Finding Liao Tian-Ding's Hidden Treasure in Dadaocheng." To strengthen employee bonds and promote work-life balance, the Welfare Committee provided competition prizes, catering, and local specialty gifts, while weaving the spirit of "Regional Revitalization" throughout the event.
Getac Holdings Chairman Michael Huang was honored with the “Outstanding Corporate Leader” award at the National Brand Yushan Awards and received the highest distinction in this category nationwide.
Organized annually, the National Brand Yushan Awards invite experts from industry, government, and academia to evaluate winners based on criteria such as quality, brand, and value. Getac Beach Cleanup Day Debuts, Promoting Low-Carbon, Zero-Impact Green Living and Encouraging Employees to Engage in Environmental Sustainability Volunteering
In celebration of World Earth Day, Getac Group Holdings, together with its subsidiaries Atemitech Corporation and Getac Technology Corporation, organized a beach cleanup volunteer day on March 25 (a make-up working day). Employees were mobilized to Fulong Beach to participate in the cleanup activity.
Centered on the theme “Low-Carbon, Zero-Impact Green Living,” the initiative emphasized the practice of low-carbon operations. From pre-event planning to execution, the activity was designed to avoid additional environmental impact, reduce carbon emissions, and minimize pollution, allowing participants to spend a day in harmony with the environment.
A total of 151 employees joined the volunteer activity. The cleanup adopted the ICC (International Coastal Cleanup) data sheet developed by the Taiwan Ocean Conservation Association (TOC) to classify marine debris using a standardized global framework. In total, 154.4 kilograms of coastal waste were collected, delivering meaningful environmental impact and tangible results.
