Atemitech Donates Smart Hydrogen Microgrid Equipment with Partners, Supporting NTUST Green Energy Campus Development
Atemitech Corp., a subsidiary of Getac Holdings, in collaboration with the Y.S. Educational Foundation and Lien Hwa Industrial Holdings Corp (New Energy Initiatives), Asia Hydrogen Energy Corporation, and MiTAC Information Technology Corp. from the Lianhua Mitra Group, jointly donated a "Smart Hydrogen Microgrid and Energy Storage System" to National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST). This aims to assist the university in establishing an on-campus system that integrates hydrogen energy, energy storage, and battery management systems, to verify and display applications for "disaster-resilient microgrids" and "smart green building energy efficiency," thus promoting energy transformation and enhancing disaster resilience on campus.
The donation ceremony took place today (the 7th) on the NTUST campus, attended by Yilin Zheng, the Dean of the College of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at NTUST, several faculty and student representatives, Y.S. Educational Foundation's Executive Director Huabin Miao, and executives from cooperating companies. This event marked an important step towards green energy intelligence on campus and symbolized a new milestone in industry-academic collaboration for sustainable energy. The project incorporates Atemitech Corp.'s mobile integrated energy storage system (rated power 2.4kW/rated capacity 3.8kWh), Asia Hydrogen Energy Corporation's fuel cell power generation system (ENE-FARM), and MiTAC Information Technology Corp.'s energy management system (EMS), creating a comprehensive "generation-storage-management" integrated structure. The system uses natural gas or LPG gas as the hydrogen supply source, utilizing the home thermal power cogeneration system ENE-FARM for hydrogen power generation. The generated electricity is stored in the energy storage system, and the heat generated during the power generation process is used to supply hot water, effectively enhancing energy efficiency. Meanwhile, the EMS provides real-time monitoring of power operations to ensure system stability.

Ming-Han Hwang, Chairman of Getac Holdings and Atemitech Corp., stated, "This project, facilitated through the Y.S. Educational Foundation, effectively integrates multiple expertise and resources to create a demonstrative microgrid solution, combining academic and practical elements to enhance energy security on campus. It also showcases the Lianhua MiTAC Group's affiliates' integration capabilities and forward-looking deployment in the new energy sector. Aten is honored to be part of it."

As an international provider of professional battery modules and energy storage solutions, Atemitech Corp. played a crucial role in this demonstration site with its integrated energy storage system, characterized by the following features:
High mobility: Designed for portability, it can be quickly deployed to emergency sites beyond fixed microgrids, demonstrating flexible application value.
Stable power output: It absorbs fluctuations from hydrogen power generation and smooths output, ensuring quality electricity on campus.
Blackout start-up capability: It can immediately provide start-up power in case of a power outage, ensuring no interruptions to the hydrogen system and critical campus facilities.
Diverse output design: Supports 110V and 220V voltage to accommodate various campus equipment needs.
Atemitech Corp.'s Chief Operating Officer, Zhang Zhoulong, emphasized, "The introduction of the smart hydrogen microgrid project at NTUST demonstrates the advantages of an integrated energy storage system in terms of stability and flexibility. We hope to promote this solution to more campuses, enterprises, and communities, making 'mobile high-efficiency energy storage' a key force in the next wave of energy transformation and sustainable development."
